Privacy Policy
Bos is designed to work without an account, cloud service, advertising, analytics, or tracking.
Data collection
Bos does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.
Data stored on your device
Your backlog items, time estimates, completion state, focus-session state, theme, and reminder preferences are stored locally on your device. This information is used only to provide the app’s features.
Notifications and Live Activities
If you enable the optional evening reminder, Bos schedules a local notification on your device. Focus sessions may use Apple’s Live Activities to show a countdown on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Bos does not use push notifications or a remote server for these features.
Data deletion
Bos has no account or server-side profile to delete. Your backlog data is stored only on your device. Uninstalling Bos removes its locally stored data, subject to the behavior of device backups managed by you and Apple.
Children’s privacy
Bos is not directed specifically at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If Bos’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before the changed practices are introduced.
